Nationwide CPC training & tests
Nationwide provider of Initial and Periodic CPC training for LGV & PSV drivers.
Modules 2 & 4 are a compulsory requirement for anyone wishing to drive LGV or PSV for financial gain, who passed their car test after January 1997.
If you drive an HGV for work, you need to do 35 hours of training every 5 years. This course is now available online, taken in the comfort of your own home.
For businesses looking for a CPC training instructor to visit them, or wanting to send employees to us, we have over 40 locations and CPC instructors UK wide and can be as flexible as your business needs.
The new CPC legislation came into play in September 2009, and is regulated by Jaupt on behalf of the DVSA & DVA. All drivers of goods vehicles (both LGV & PSV) must hold a drivers certificate of professional competence qualification, and will receive a driver qualification card once training is completed.
HGV & PSV drivers who passed their car test prior to January 1997 have 'acquired rights' and do not need to undertake the initial Drivers CPC Training, moving straight on to Periodic CPC Training. All qualified drivers must complete 35 hours of periodic CPC training every 5 years, delivered over 5 days of 7 hours each.
